• How many days do I need to attend the training centre?

  You will need to attend the centre for 16 days (Monday – Thursday for 4 consecutive weeks) to complete the practical training and assessments required for the Electrical Installations Technology unit and complete your Health and Safety practical assessment.

• Can I split up the in centre training?

  Yes, we can offer the option of splitting up the in centre training in to separate weeks. You can book week 1, then week 2 , however, weeks 3 and 4 must be carried out consecutively due to the nature of the training and assessments.

• What qualification will I gain from this course?

  You will earn the City and Guilds 2365-02 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures).

• What are my next steps after the level 2 electrician course?

  After completing this course, your next step is to enrol in 2365 Level 3 Electrical Installation Course.

• Is level 2 enough to be an electrician?

  No, completing the 2365 level 2 course alone is not sufficient for you to become a qualified electrician. It is part of a series of qualifications including the Level 3 2365 and NVQ 2357 required to become fully qualified.

• I have already completed some of the C&G level 2 elsewhere, do I have to start from the beginning?

  No, you do not have to start from the beginning. As long as you can provide evidence of the units you have already completed you can carry these over. Please call us to discuss your next steps.

• What is City and Guilds Remote Invigilation Service?

  City and Guilds offers the opportunity for you to take your exam at home, using their remote invigilation service. A member of their team will manage and invigilate your exam remotely through their online exam platform. • Do I need to complete the online training before I can attend in centre?

  You will need to complete a handful of online modules of the level 2 electrical installation training before attending your in-centre training. These include; Unit 203 Electrical Installations Technology and Unit 201 Health & Safety plus a few lessons from the Fundamental electrical knowledge and skills module and the Inspection & Testing module. The other online modules can be completed before or after you have attended in person.

• Can I pay in instalments?

  When booking your course, you can choose to put down a deposit of £1500. The remaining balance of £1000 would then be due 21 days before your in centre training begins.
