C&G 2392-10 Level 2 Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Verification Course
The City & Guilds Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification course (2392-10) will teach you how to safely test, inspect and verify newly installed or extended circuits.
By helping you keep up to date with current best practice, it’s ideal for either newcomers learning how to become an electrician, those who are newly qualified, or existing contractors from other engineering industries wishing to add this valuable skill set to their qualifications.
This course is ideal preparation for the Level 3 Inspection and Testing Course.

There are no qualification entry requirements, however, you will need to be 18 or over to take part. We would strongly recommend that if you are new to the industry you initially attend our Basic electrical course.

Course duration
The Level 2 Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Verification course will take place over 4.5 days and the core course times will be 08.15 AM – 4:45 PM, finishing at 1.00 PM on Friday. Please take a look at our course FAQs for further course information.
The exams
At the end of your City and Guilds 2392-10 course you will have 2 exams to take:
1. Online multiple choice exam consisting of 50 questions which you have 1 Hour and 40 minutes to complete.
2. A practical assessment where you will have to demonstrate that you know how to safely isolate a consumer unit, perform all the live and dead tests and fill in all the necessary paperwork to comply with Part P of the Building Regulations. You will have 2 Hours to complete this assessment.

Do I need experience to take this Level 2 Inspect and Testing course?
No experience is required to join the 2392-10 course, however, we do recommend if you are new to electrical work, to undertake our Basic Electrical Course before.

All equipment and tools are provided for you during your training with us.
