FAQs
Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at individuals who have already completed their previous training with EC4U (or equivalent) and want to join a Government approved Part P scheme provider as a Qualified Supervisor in order to sign off all notifiable work according to the current building regulations. To find out more, click here.
Will I be able to join a Part P scheme provider after this course?
This is one of the qualifications needed to join a Part P Scheme. You will also need 24 months experience, your 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and a Level 3 Testing and Inspection qualification. It is also important to understand the distinction between us and the Part P scheme providers. As a training company we can help you gain the qualifications required to apply for membership, but it is down to the individual schemes as to whether they deem you eligible to join. If you are looking to join a scheme provider, we would highly recommend speaking to them first to check their entry requirements.
What qualifications will I gain?
EAL Level 3 Certification in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings – 600/7695/1EO

You will need to complete the home learning modules which can typically take between 3-7 weeks depending on other commitments.
